Born on 13 of May of 1984 in Utsunomiya, Takano Yoriko was influenced to compose music from an early age. She started by playing piano, and listening to Disney songs. Her official music career began in 2002 with the release of her first indie album "Aizenaha" under Harmony Records. Her music was used for a few theme songs for TV dramas and anime series.
In 2004 she began work with Toshiba EMI, and in 2005 released the album "Cocoon" , ending her indie period. All of her albums have achieved rankings in the Oricon Charts.
