Yamaarashi is not at all your typical rock band. They are a sort of rock/rap group, actually and this new type of music was their main attraction. Unlike what that classification alludes to, their music is very unique and fresh. Started in October 1996, the band has released a large handful of albums and even performed overseas at one point.

Yamaarashi’s sound consists of melodic male vocals, hip-hop, heavy guitars, and an abundance of synth. These traits are what make Yamaarashi stand out among other bands of their genre.

Thoughts

Yamaarashi reminds me a lot of bands like Orange Range. They have a unique combination of singing, rapping, and rock elements in their songs. They have some very good songs like "Go Your Way". I would check them out if you are looking for a unique band.
