Profile

Wrench, a four man group, formed in July 1992. Since their formation, they have produced music that is a mix of techno and rock. Some of their themes include messages of defiance or issues about society.

Influenced by artists like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wrench has been well accepted by their audiences at live performances. Their success at live venues led the band to release their first album "Black Holiday" in 1996.

Wrench’s activities changed quite a bit when their song "Sora" was remixed by DJ Shakkazombie. The remix led the band to explore the club scene and venture into new genres with their music.

Thoughts

Wrench provides a stange twist of techno and rock melodies in their music. Songs with this mixture, like "Take Away", are Wrench’s strongest productions. When they focus only on techno beats, their songs tend to lose some uniqueness and fall under short of anything great.
