Profile
Wolfsheim was formed in 1987 by Markus Reinhardt and Pompejo Ricciardi. Soon after, Oliver Reinhardt (Markus brother) joined the band. After producing a demo tape, Pompeji left the band, suggesting that Peter Heppner be his successor. After awhile Oliver left the band, leaving only Markus and Peter.
The band debuted in 1992 with the album, No Happy View. Until 2001, about 65,000 copies of the album were sold, the band was elected "Newcomer of the Year" by many magazines. Soon after, the singles Now I Fall and Thunderheart were released.
Since then, the band has released many albums which have recieved widespread acclaim throughout Germany, and the bands popularity has grown in America as well.

Thoughts
Wolfsheim has a really unique sound. Their music reminds me of a mix of 80s and pop music. Although they are a German band, Peter occasionally does sing in English very well. This band is a must listen! Enjoy the samples below :)
