Profile

This duo of guitarists formed in 2002 at the local scene. At first, they barely had an audience, but it started to eventually grow. It was summer, that very same year where they were in a nationwide tournament and placed seventh. By 2003, their audience grew from 300 to over 1000.

But it wasn’t until February of 2004 that they released their first single. It takes a lot of coordination for them to get together to make music for both of them are dorama actors. Wentz Eiji has starred in one, while Koike Teppei has starred in six.

Thoughts

WaT is an awesome pop band! Wentz and Koike create beautiful melodies by interweaving their voices together with some solo parts as well. Their background music is exquisite too! Although they’re fairly new, they have some great songs. Enjoy the samples below :D
