Profile

With a death metal style familiar to New York fans of the genre, Vomit Remnants made there debut near the end of 1997. Created by Keisuke Tsuboi and Takahiro Kuwabara, the band recorded there first demo, In The Name Of Vomit with Flesh Mangler vocalist Shinjiroh Sawada.

With world wide promoting and appearances in various death metal magazines, Vomit Remnants recorded there second demo, Brutally Violated. After contributing to a compilation cd titled Gore Is Your Master, vocalist Shinjiroh Sawada left the band. Despite there loss the band was still able to successfully record there first full length album, Supreme Entity with the help of support vocalist Toshiyasu Kusayanagi in May of 1999.

After performing at the Ohiodeath Fest99 festival along side bands such as Internal Bleeding, Prophecy, Dying Fetus and many others, Vomit Remnants line up was completed in 2000 when support vocalist Toshiyasu Kusayanagi became a permanent member and second guitarist Atsuyuki Katou joined. A European tour with Fleshless and Godless Truth followed closely behind. It included lives at both the Obcsene Extreme Fest and Nuclear Storm Fest in the Czech Republic. There short lived North American Extermination tour took place in 2001.

The band has recently released there newest album, Indefensible Vehemence on Macabre Mementos Records.

Thoughts

Vomit Remnants are great brutal death metal, with many groove elements. The vocals range between gutteral death, and screamed black vocals. If you like Zombie Ritual or Cannibal Corpse you should love these guys.
