Profile

Visui is Motoki’s (ex D’AIR) solo project with the help from various other artist. His musical career began as in Lareine as their roadie and support guitarist. He also participated in the Lareine PV "Saikai no Hana". in August of 2006 the formation of the band D’AIR came to be which Motoki joined as guitarist. D’AIR released 4 singles and 3 albums before going on a hiatus in mid 2006.

In 9 of 2007 Motoki announced the beginning of his solo project Visui. His first mini album "Ruby -CORE SIDE-" released on October 19, received help from several artist from different bands, including Tetsu, Ena, Yuusuke, Emii, and Hikaru, Haki and Shintaro from Anubis. In November 17 his first maxi single, "Eien ni kawaru made wa-Love Side-", was release with the help of Kuro and Sayuki, along side his old band mates from D’AIR, Nagi on vocal, Juya on bass and U-YA on drums for certain songs. During the end of 2007 Motoki has perform live with many of the support artist.

Thoughts

I personally think Visui is a wonderful project. Motoki’s music is still very sweet and in many tracks reminds me of his D’AIR compositions. His first album was a good start with nice beats, but his single was by far better, it was like having D’AIR all over again.
