Profile
Vigilante is a heavy progressive metal band that was formed in 1988. The band was named after the British rock band, Magnums song "Vigilante". Much to their luck, the band met the manager of Gibson Japan early in their career. They were able to borrow some Gibson guitars, and within a week had created a demo cd called "Fatal Superstition". Unfortunately, many of the band members left shortly afterwards.
Several months later, Vigilante resumed their activities with some new members. The band played their first major show in Tokyo in 1997. At that show they performed over 20 songs in 2 hours.
Vigilante released their third album "Cosmic Intuition" in August 2004.

Thoughts
Vigilante is pretty good. Hideaki has a high pitched voice that sounds awesome with the guitar. A lot of props also go to the guitarists. They can do some really great solos and background accompianment. Below is a sample of their song
The Wandering Traveler.
