Imitation PoPs Uchuu Sentai NOIZ was formed in 1999, and were originally known as NOIZ. Soon after formation, they released Imitation PoPs, their demo. After this, the band also started touring.

In 2002, they began recording their first maxi single. They also released a 1st Press version of Command No. 0069, and performed at the Ikebukuro Cyber. Shortly after, they performed their again at a two night one man live.

In 2003 they released e -> o and Ignition. Then in July they released a limited edition of EGOISM (only 5,000 copies released) and they also toured from July 6th to October 12th. Shortly after they toured in other areas around Japan and their fame grew greatly. They also released Zero Genealogy (their 2nd album), have appeared on magazine covers, and have many lives and concerts planned.

In October, 2006 they performed at the Pacific Media Expo Convention in the United States.

Thoughts

I was very impressed with this band! Their songs are very upbeat and catchy. The vocals are also quite good, which is quite unusual in the visual kei genre. I highly suggest this band!
