Profile
Tsubaki formed in April 2000 under the name Camellia. The next year Ogawa joined the band, then followed by Okamoto. That same year, they also changed the band's name officially to Tsubaki. The band is fairly new and has been playing at a lot of clubs to get a good fan base. They have also played with Asian Kung-Fu Generation on their Nano Iro Electric Tour! They have quite a few Indies works, as well as some major singles and albums!

Thoughts
Tsubaki reminds me a lot of other bands like Remioromen and Kohl. Their music has a very laid back, rockish feel to it. Isshiki also has a very nasal voice that is a little reminiscent of the vocalist from the Pillows. Overall they are a good band, but their music isn't very exciting to me. Please try them out though. They are worth a listen!
