Tsubaki started doing lives in Shibuya at CLUBHARLEM of HIPHOP club. A year later, she released her first ablum Far side. It grew to be a power play at the club as she gained some popularity. A few months later, the album WELL of HB DONE was released with her as a main vocal. Virgin Records got a hold of her music and liked it and she released a single. Her 2nd single Hakuzitumu was used for TV Tokyo JAPAN COUNTDOWN as an opening song. She also released four more singles. In 2004, her 2nd album cotton voice was released.

Thoughts

Tsubaki is a interesting artist. She has a beautiful voice that sounds spectacular! Despite her talent though, she is still not very well known. This seems to be a discouraging trend that I have noticed with several other very talented artists. Tsubaki’s music ranges from ballads to pop, and some hip-hop.
