Thank you for doing this interview! Could you introduce yourselves please?
Aci: Hello I'm Aci of TRD. I'm the composer and violinist in TRD.
Har. Bloodmore: Hi, I'm Har. Bloodmore of TRD. I'm the vocalist in TRD.
How did you come up with your band name?
Har: THE ROYAL DEAD has had two names. At first, our name was Phantasmagoria. Phantasmagoria's meaning is "before you die". Because I wanted a name to include after death "DEAD" when we change the band name.
2nd, "Phantasmagoria" is difficult to remember in Japanese. We changed the name to make it easier to remember.
What age did you get involve in music?
Aci: I started music when I was 5 years old.
Har: I started it since a few years ago.
Your music is very high energy. What inspires you to write music?
Aci: Thanks! So, I'm listening into my head every time. I write it only... It's natural.
And what inspires you to write lyrics?
Har: It's only inspiration when I listen. It's automatic.
You plan to release your new maxi-single titled "LOVE EXODUS" in a few days. How did you choose the title?
Har: I could imagineone story when listening to the 5 songs. The image was "LOVE EXODUS".
What were your inspirations for this single?
Aci: About music, I wanted compose more powerful music like a German trance.
You are currently signed to the Argentinian label, Twilight Records. How did you come across it?
Aci: They contacted us to help release our next album.
Which do you like more: recording or playing live?
Aci and Har: Of course we like live more than recording.
Aci: I dislike recording... It's too tiring.
How would you describe a The Royal Dead live?
Aci and Har: We don't know. Because we forget ourselves when we play the live. Please watch and confirm our performance.
Do you get nervous before you perform?
Aci: I don't get nervous every time.
Har: I think so. Because I have chicken heart...
Has there been any memorable lives?
Aci and Har: We had a lot of rain when we are playing in Castle Party 2007. Har's equipment broke for rain. Also we played outside at first.
You will be returning to the US to tour in a few cities. Do you have any expectations of the shows?
Aci and Har: We are looking forward to being able to meet a lot of people.

Aci: I'm sorry. I'm not sure about tickets. Of course please look at our myspace http://www.myspace.com/exphantasmagoria if people want to know more updated information.
Later during the summer you hope to perform in Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Russia. Are you excited about these shows?
Aci and Har: Of course!! We can go back to Basel again. We went there two years ago. We were very fun at there.
What are your future plans and aspirations? Aci and Har: We would like to record music videos.
What advice would you give your fans that want to be musicians? Aci and Har: Make good music at first, please. I would like to listen your music. And please come to Japan to play.
