In 1985, the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra was started by Asa-Chang. They had a new "ska sound" which was unheard of at the time, thanks to a group of more than 10 people who, from Tokyo’s underground scene, showed innovation that the Japanese music scene was aroused by. The band, whose contracted name is Skapara, has done live performances in clubs and on the streets of Tokyo.Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra is a special ska band standing out among the ska bands around the world, which was later dubbed as Tokyo Ska. It has been said that many artists who visit Tokyo try to get some of their (Tokyo Ska) music while there. Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra is a must for ska music lovers all over the world.
Skapara has collaborated with several other artists: including Shina Ringo, Yusuke Chiba of Thee Michelle Gun Elephant, Takao Tajima, and Tamio Okuda.

Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra is super cool. They do moslty a mixture of instrumental ska and jazz music. They also have a couple of songs with vocals as well, although they are rare. Most musicians will fall in love with this band. Their style is excellent and each song is very unique :)akfgfan
