Profile
Tianangue is a progressive power metal from Japan, formed in 1998, officially starting, however, a year later. Their name came from Tir Nan Og. In the Celtic Myth, Dana, Tir Nan Og was a country, the land of eternal youth, and was fantasized as the shining world of faeries. It was said to have been across and beyond the western sea where no disease, anguish, aging, or death would afflict it.
Tiananogues first album, Eternal Utopia, was based off this fairytale. In 2000, they signed to Eternal Enegy of Vigilante Co., Ltd. Eternal Utopia was released in 2001 under that label. Two years later in January, their first single Free My Soul was released and they started pre-production for their second album. Until, finally, Future Retrospective was released in 2006.

My Thoughts
I wasnt very impressed with Tiananogue. The biggest weakness of this band is their vocalist. They dont match the music at all and often have a nasaly sound to them. Perhaps under a different vocalist, this band would be better.
