Profile
The Miceteeth formed in Osaka in 1999, and began to independently perform live. Two years later, they released their first single through the independent music label, Tentosen. A year later, they released their first mini album "Constant Music".
Around late 2004, The Miceteeths popularity skyrocketed when their tune "Nemo" was used as the opening theme of the tv show CDTV on TBS. A few months after airing on television, another song was chosen as the ending theme to the NTV show Sabakon.
Since their big debut on television, The Miceteeth have actively participated in festivals like Fuji Rock and Arabaki Rock. They have also worked on the Disney cover album "Mosh Pit Steamroller and You Are", and Bonnie Pinks cover album "Reminiscence"!

Thoughts
The Miceteeth tends to play a lot of jazzy pop songs, often with the support of brass musicians. In many ways, their songs have a reminiscent early 1900s sound to them. Their vocalist also has a very nasally sound which adds to the bands overall theme. As a band they are not too bad, but not my cup of tea.
