Profile
Sugar is a Korean girl band started out in 2001. They didnt started of well as their debut song, Sweet Love, failed to get a lot of listeners. Their first album, Tell Me Why, was released on March 13, 2002, managed to make an impact and initially gathered a number of followers. After the release of their debut album, the group made their Japan debut by released the opening and closing theme song for Kaleido Star on June 18, 2003 and went back to Korea to record their second album.
After the release of their third album, Secret, an official announcement was made that a new member, Haleen, would be joining them. In 2006, it was announced that Soo Jin was leaving Sugar and it resulted to the group to be on hiatus. It was then made official that Sugar had disbanded on December 20, 2006.

Thoughts
Sugar was a nice pop group. They are like many large pop groups out there (ie. V6), often singing choruses together. Unlike some groups though, their catchy songs are sure to remind music fans of other famous groups like S.E.S. Definitely check out their songs and I think you will like what you hear.
