Taking influences from glam rock, electro, cyber-punk and sci-fic, amongst other things, Speecies formed in 2006 consisting of Sadie Pink Galaxy (solo, ex-Jubilee), Wattz Electric Galaxy and Kuno Psyence Freak.They’ve played various lives in and around Tokyo and Osaka during their short time together, and have taken part in events such as Tokyo Dark Castle, Villingen, Suicide A Go Go and Glamtronik 5.
They continue to play live shows and their next one is on February 25th 2007 at Club Vijon in Osaka.

Thoughts
Speecies music is heavily dominated by a mixture of rock and electronic sounds. The odd mixture makes Speecies music very unique and fun to listen to. Compared to Sadie’s old band, Jubilee, Speecies does seem to focus much more on the glam rock aspect of their music. Definitely check them out.
