Profile

In 2000, Source was formed with Black Elder Brother, Kentaro, D.O.I, and Kimuratsu. They released their first mini-album and began to perform at a lot of club events. The following year, Ono-G joined the band.

In 2002, they were selected by "Total Music Communication02" (a sponsorship by Dragon Ash) and performed at 14 concerts! Shortly afterwards, they debuted under Warner Music with the album "Source". Source was quite successful, and released several singles afterwards. They also opened for Dragon Ash on their Dragon Ash Tour02.

By 2003, Shibuya became the official drummer of Source. Their concerts began to sell out and they made a contract with Victor Entertainment. Kimuratsu left the band the following year, leaving them with their current line up. Source is still quite active and just released a new album titled " Ka-ke-ha-shi" in October 2005.

My Thoughts

Source is a great band! I actually had no idea they had been around for so long @_@. Ono-G and Elder Bro do a excellent job with singing, rapping, and overlapping their vocals. It is really one of the gems of this band! Their music is great too. Its innovative and fits perfectly with the mood of the songs. Check this band out!
