Profile

Sly Mongoose formed in 2002. They released a 7 inch vinyl that year titled "Sly Mongoose". It became an immediate success, and the band found overwhelming support from DJs, clubs, and even foreign stores. Soon the band began to perform at an aggressive pace. Each release became more successful than the last.

In 2006, their album "Snakes and Ladder" was released on a world wide scale! Under Locarno Records, the band is now performing on nation wide tours and regularly attends big music festivals.

Thoughts

Sly Mongoose plays a variety of contemporary jazz. Their band heavily focuses on the percussion aspect of songs, so you get to hear some very cool sounds and melodies that are rather unordinary.
