Sexy 8, a shuffle group created by the Hello! Project in 2002 was one of the highest selling groups. It’s members consisted of Heike Michiyo, Yaguchi Mari, Kimura Ayaka, Ootani Masae, Yoshizawa Hitomi, Ishikawa Rika, Goto Maki and Satoda Mai. They released one single titled Shiawase Desu ka? under the theme Happiness along with their own version of the featured song Yoku Aru Oyako no Serenade.

Thoughts

Sexy 8’s style was very similar to Morning Musume. Like Morning Musume, the girls would take turns singing and often did choruses together. Also much like Morning Musume, they recorded generic, fun pop songs. Their main single, "Shiawase Desu Ka" is rather good and definitely deserves a listen.
