Profile
See-Saw started in July, 1993 with three members. In April 1994 though, Nishioka left the band to pursue a career as a writer. The last two members toughed it out and in 2001 received a chance to work on some songs for the anime
Noir. See-Saw had great success and one single ranked #15 on Oricons chart. In 2002, the band released their seventh single titled
Obsession. The single was on Oricons chart for 18 weeks! Since then, See-Saw has worked closely with anime productions such as
hack//SIGN and
Gundum SEED. Yuki Kajiura has become very famous for her beautiful work on anime soundtracks. Chiaki will usually accompany in some of the OSTs songs as well. The two also work on their solo work in their spare time.
Thoughts
Since their work on
hack//SIGN, I have been in love with See-Saws music. Their solo work is very melodic and beautiful. Chiaki has a great voice that hit some really nice high notes. Yuki, on the other hand, has this amazing art for composing incredible music. The two together create absolutly mesmerizing music. I especially love the stuff they do for Anime OSTs. You feel as if their music is taking you into another world. Below is a song they did for
Gundum SEED.
