In 1995, she formed a the band INSANIA, and in 1999, the band changed its name to FAIRY MIRROR due to the overuse of INSANIA for band names. After this, the band began to gain fair popularity. This recognition steadily grew, which led to stress that continued to reach a critical and harmful point to Saekos physiology. She continued to perform despite this, but worsened her condition. Due to this, she was forced to leave FAIRY MIRROR.
As a recovery method, she traveled to Europe and later Canada. During her return to Europe she met Lars Ratz, who would sign a label deal with her, and with the debut song "Sinners for False Light" Saeko launched her solo career. Her first album, "Above Heaven, Below Heaven", was released on August of 2004 under the Ratz label, ARMAGEDDON MUSIC.
She returned to the stage in the same year, and her album became sold out, forcing the label to reprint copies. Her second album "LIFE" was released in Japan on March of 2006, and the following month worldwide. Prior to this release, due to some conflicts within the label, Saeko left to create her own production company in Japan, SHINPUH.
Saeko continues to hold strong fame in Japan and worldwide with her deep music and lyrics.
