Rythem is a girl duo that just started quite recently. Both girls attended the same high school, and were in the same class when they met. In 2002, they sent Sony a audition tape and by 2003 had debuted with their first single, Harmonia. Their first single sold over 70,000 copies, which was exceptional for a new group. It was also featured as one of the ending songs for the anime Naruto. Rythem is expecting its first album to come out June 23, 2004!Thoughts
I first discovered Rythem through the Naruto ending Harmonia and immediately fell in love with the song. Rythem’s style reminds me a little bit of another girl duo known as Kiroro, only a little higher pitched. Their songs have a pretty laid back melody, which is perfect for duet style songs. If you like singers like Kiroro and Maya Sakamoto, then you will probably like Rythem. If you are looking for a change in pace, then def. try Rythem out.akfgfan
