Now considered a founder of Japanese hardcore metal, ROSE ROSE was first formed in 1983 by vocalist, Hiro. Playing punk music, the band released their first album titled "Bleed For You" in 1985. Over the years, ROSE ROSE started to adopt a harder sound to their music. In 1991, they added another guitarist for this specific purpose. Only two years later, the band had officially transformed their sound to metal, releasing the album "Degenerate Generation".ROSE ROSE’s change in style opened up many doors for the band. Six Weeks Records released a compilation called "A Japanese Hardcore Compilation" that featured ROSE ROSE. In addition, the band recieved a record deal with K.O.G.A Records in 2003. Since their change to K.O.G.A Records, several new albums have been released. The band is expected to release a new album titled "Cheaper Dream" in 2007, and has also released many of their songs online to Japanfiles.com.

Thoughts
I’m not a fan of Rose Rose. Their music is really upbeat and they incorporate a lot of screaming. Listening to them makes me ansy and nervous, which isn’t want I really want when I listen to music.Click to read/add your opinion!
