Profile

Rosenfeld was first formed in 1986 in Tokyo, Japan. Later that year, they released their first demo tape titled "Rosenfeld". The demo tape included three tracks, some of which were later included in a demo tape titled "B".

In 1991, Rosenfeld released their first major album titled "Pigs of the Empire" through the record company Skullcrusher Records (Hisayoshi, the vocalist, was the founder of the music label). For reasons unknown, the band seemed to have trouble working together. In 1993 they announced that the band was going to split up. They made one last release, which was a live album titled "In the Garden".

Thoughts

Rosenfeld is classic thrash with raw production, brutal riffs, and incredible drumming. Their vocals are a little weak, but easily forgiven. If you like bands such as Barbatos or Fastkill they’re right up your alley.
