Road of Major is a Melo-Core band that started as an indies group that tryed to get popularity. After a little bit, they debuted with the single Taisetsunamono on august 2002, and it became a hit. It ranked 50 on the Oricon charts, and later was in the top 10 for a long time. They got a lot of television exposure and released a few more singles. Road of Major was compared to bands like 175 at that time. They released their first album, Road of Major, towards the end of 2003. They were called "Road of Major" because they hoped to become a major label band one day.This was accomplished on November 2004. Their music was very appealing and well accepted by fans, and they got signed to cutting edge, an Avex record group. They continued to release singles and putting out opening music for television shows.

Thoughts
Road of major is an okay band to listen too. Road of Major’s singer has a powerful nasal voice and does a pretty good job in vocals. Their music is rock with some hard rock in their as well. They tend to mix in alot of all singing choruses. Overall they have a pretty good sound if you like Japanese Rock, but they arent something to really go out of your way to get.
