Profile
Ritual Carnage formed in Tokyo in 1993. Over the years, the band faced several lineup changes and problems and at one point even died out.
Damien tried to reform the band, inviting Bill Jokela and Alex Amedy to play; however, they soon left to concentrate on other projects. Finally after finding Ken and Sawada, Ritual Carnage was able to record five songs for a demo cd in 1996. Shortly after its recording, the band played its first live in Meguro Live Station.
The band released their first album "The Highest Law" in 1998. Over the years, the line up has continued to change; however, the band is still active and has now released several albums.

Thoughts
Ritual Carnage are generic thrash to a fault. They do what they do well, but it can easily turn into background noise that will never be remembered. With an occasional catchy song being fun for the three minutes it lasts. Musically they sound, as said, like generic thrash. The vocals are reminiscent of early Arch Enemy. All in all, if you like thrash, you'll like this band. If you need your thrash original and mind blowing, avoid this band.
