This single is ridiculously impressive. Ayumu has probably one of the most commanding and intense vocals from all of the japanese female vocalists Ive ever heard. She ensares you! The song begins with some acoustic guitar with a promising tempo. When Ayumu begins to sing, her tone just teases you, its almost as if shes saying, wait until you hear the chorus... which, by the way, is insanely awesome! Ive never heard such a controlling chorus! Her voice is furiously provoking! It gives off such an intense feeling!
The song has an impressive flow to it, which is created by the bass. Megu doesnt have any really impressive solos as one would think, considering the band only has two members. This being the case, you lean an extra ear to hear for her playing. Its nothing notingly impressive, but she does know how to play, she has a good ear(which are harder to come across than one thinks), and the flow she creates is surprisingly effective, creating a impressive single and a very impressed audience.
The next track, Pretty Queen, has a whole different feel to it. Opposite from the first track, it has a less determind tone to it, and is slightly more layed back. It has a teasing tone, as if Ayumus almost nagging. Its not as impressive as Watashi Gai no Uta, but the transition is more appreciated. It basically demonstrates Zweis taste and music style which is, more or less, eclectic in terms of tone and mood.
Overall, Zwei is a very great combonation and very great band that creates very great music. I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a way out of the japanese-pop congestion.
