Review:
Did it start off well? The dvd started off very well! They show Orange Range jumping around before they go on stage. It's pretty amusing. Then, they start off the conert with the song, Chest, which is a great song to start with! It immediatly got everyone in the concert jumping. Though, in the beginning, the microphones were kinda screwy.
Was the music good? Yes, the music was fantastic! Their singing was great, almost sounds as good as their cd recordings. And no, they weren't lip singing.
Were there any exciting/amazing parts? The amazing thing through-out the dvd was them showing the audience. The audience is HUGE. But somehow, Orange Range was able to get EVERYONE jumping. Even the ones far back. One funny part was when they wore wigs when they performed to the song, City Boy. Also, when Hiroki (Mid Vox.) tripped while running to the other side of the stage.
Any dull/boring parts? To my surprise, I thought there would be boring parts. However, there wasn't. They were able to keep you excited with all their energy that they display on stage. During the parts you can't help but laugh at the things they do, they're really entertaining. You just sometimes can't help but to sing along sometimes.
Would you buy the product? Yes. This DVD ranked number one in Japan's dvd chart.
Track Listing
- Opening using the song KA-RI-SU-MA -
KA-RI-SU-MA is a upbeat song to dance to. It gets addicting to listen to after a while.
1. Chesto
This is a great starter song for the whole concert. The way the flames came up as they were performing was amazing. The rapping was great and I loved how they just kept going even thoguh their microphones kept messing up. Through the mess up, they kept the audience active.
2. Fever!
Odd enough to say, the use of the lighting was interesting here. Once again, their rapping was FANTASTIC in this song. I loved every minute of this song.
3. Ishen Deshin
The transition from Fever! to Ishen Deshin was pretty smooth. The way they just...performed the song was really good. During the middle of the song, They were able to pump up the audience even more which was amazing.
4. Full Throttle
Full Throttle is a crazy performance! It wasn't bad it was just...so active and so much jumping. Ahahaha. The guitarist and the bassis (Naoto and Yoh) are really rocking in this song.
5. Shanghai Honey
I loved the part in this song where they did the "Yeyasalsha" (sorry i dont' know how to spell it exactly) was fun to watch. Since I'm from Okinawa it's great to watch how they are proud to show that they're Okinawan.
6. Zung Zung Funky Music
-Introduction of each member with solos-
Hiroki's solo was disgusting but funny at the same time. You'll know what I mean once you watch.
7. Dancing Session
8. Backstage offshot 1
9. Matsuri Danshaku
I just loved watching the drum people in the Okinawan outfits and masks. It was pretty unique.
10. City Boy
This was a really funny performance! They went all out on the weirdest wigs ever.
11. Samurai Mania
12. SP Thanx
13. Michishirube ~A Road home~
This song is one of my favorite songs by orange range. It's message of the song is to "Keep going, no matter what". I love it.
14. Backstage offshot 2
15. Twister
The spinning of the towels was pretty interesting. Kinda odd at the same time.
16. HubStar
I just love this song period. Great performance.
17. Biba Rokku
I loved their huge wave they made the audience do. It was fun to watch.
18. Locolotion
19. Kirikirimai
This is another of their upbeat rock songs with great rapping. No wonder they used it on the Fantastic Four Movie!
20. Asterisk*
21. Hana
Hana is personally one of my favorite songs by Orange Range. It was featured in the Japanese movie, Ima Ai Ni Yukimasu. They did a good performance, I recommend to have a box of tissues near by.
21. Rakuyo
This song was really really sad to watch. Katchan, the drummer, started to cry since it was basically his last tour with the band since he had to leave due to tendonitis on his left pinkie finger which prevented him to drum.
