Review
Its power metal, and its rather good Japanese power metal. The songs are very typical of power metal yet tend to have a clear bass guitar. The riffs are clear and the drumming is good, and the vocals are usually a deep, almost mystic semi-operatic to operatic male vocals. There are times when his vocals hit boring pitches, but for the most part his vocals are really catchy. Theres a bit of engrish as well. From what I can tell of the lyrics, theyre not too different from most power metal, although theres less "slay the dragon" and more along the lines of courage and mythology. Its a solid album yet not horribly unique in many aspects.
