Release Date: 06/10/2006But this EP isnt that great. These rough electronic beats can get annoying. Although the vocals are great. The first track, "Many Many Sweets", is a very fast paced bleepy electronic song. The vocals are very soft and relaxing, but the music itself isnt which makes it rather wierd.
The second song, "Ya...Pa Pa!", is much slower. The beat is very reminiscent of Super Mario and brings back old memories of playing Super Mario on my Gameboy Color. The song is very nice and relaxing and is good for a warm summer day on the grass.
The third song, "Count to 3", goes back to the fast, rather annoying, electronic beats. It actually sounds a little punk. Imagine punk gone totally electronic and the band picked up some lounge singer. "Petite Priere", the fourth track on this EP, is very relaxing (notice the back and forth). It seems they use more synth in this song and a kiddy piano which is so much better for the ears.
The fifth and final track, "Deux Ou Trois Choses Que Je Sa", is a very soft song that has a nice French flavor. An accordian and that music you hear from your neighborhood ice cream truck are accompanied by a synth. Again, notice how the synth helps these songs.
This EP isnt the greatest and I was a bit dissapointed, but remember that this was MacDonald Duck Eclairs first recording! They have gotten so much better now. If you have heard MacDonald Duck Eclairs later stuff or if youre into fast electronic music then you should get this EP. But for the casual listener, if youre going to pick anything by them, pick up their later stuff.
