Review
Being a fan of Kozis Khaos/Kinema single, I had come to expect very good things of this album. When I started listening to the album, I thought "Hmm, ok.. different, but Ill give it a try."
As the album progressed I noticed several core elements that made Khaos/Kinema were absent from this cd. Gone were the vocals that made Kozi sound like.. well.. Kozi. I thought the new lyrics, and the way Kozi sounded were not too good. (Except a few songs, which were really good.) Also gone was the heavy synth that created beautiful melodies such as Honey Vanity and ISM. I personally think his changes in music from Single to Album are terrible.
In the albums defense though, there are a few songs that live up to Kozis former work. Que Sera Sera comes to mind. The song seems like a Malice Mizer song (from when Gackt was vocalist), and it has a very catchy melody, and even an interesting chord pattern. Also the song Whos Mind is good. Its a short but sweet instrumental track that Id say is worth listening to. Last but not least is The Eyes, which is a very catchy and fast songs with what sounds like a drum-machine.
Other than those songs, I didnt find this album to be so great. Most of the songs are very short, and Kozi just doesnt deliver vocally. It may be worth it if youre a big fan of Malice Mizer, or Kozi. Other than that, I dont foresee this cd in most peoples collections.
