Release Date: 03/26/2007The EP is rather short (only three songs), but it makes up for it in quality. The first song, "Hello Again", is a nice acoustic piece thats very upbeat and catchy. It sounds like a lot of the two-piece pop bands youll find signed to some Sony labels, but this song is very well composed and the vocals are very relaxing.
The second song, "Smile", is also an acoustic piece but less upbeat and bit more on the sad side. Again, the vocals are very relaxed, and some of it is even sung in English. The only problem I have is that it drags on and Im waiting for something to happen. But nothing ever does.
The third song is a live recording of "Chikyuu" which is also, yes you guessed it, acoustic. I was surprised by the sound quality and thought this was actually done in the studio before I saw this was done live. The guitars are good and have great transitions, as are the vocals.
It took me some time to really get into this EP, but after a few listens I cant get enough of it. Advantage Lucy is great and this EP is a good place to start off if you want to hear them. This is definitely for indie kids and J-Poppers. The vocals are great and the instruments do wonders to give this album an emotional feeling, whether happy or sad.
