Review

Just recently I’ve been getting into metal, so I figured I’d review one of my favorite metal bands: Sabbrabells. I think overall Dog Fight is a very solid metal album with a lot of obvious 80’s influences. One of the only problems I had listening to the album though is that the vocals can sound nearly distorted due to the fact that this album was released a long ways back and hasn’t been remastered. Other than that though, everything about this album is great! The songs flow well, and there is a nice variety between each song. Another thing that sticks out in this album is the usage of dual guitars. Out of the album’s four songs, I’d have to say Dog Fight is the best song on the album. It’s a very memorable metal anthem with a dark theme. You can really hear the dual guitars working in this song, and it really makes it stand out in my mind. When I hear metal a lot of it sounds the same to me and I’ll stop listening, but I find myself listening to this song over and over! It’s the grand finale of the album. Anyway, if you like classic 80’s metal with dark/satanic overtones then I’d say this is your album.
