Title: DixanaduThe album starts with the song Dispell Bound. Seths voice creates a sense of harmony as the band members spell out the word "D-I-X". I enjoyed all of the songs, especially Angelica. It beings with a calm and haunting opera and shifts into a hard and destructive melody. Hayatos drums go much better alongside Manas music than the bands previous drummer.
Unfortunately, many of the songs sounded alike. This is quite a disappointment for hardcore Mana fans. All of the tracks contained similar violin and piano parts. After a while it becomes repetitive. Compared to the bands previous release Beyond the Gate, this album is greatly inferior. Its largest flaw is its lack of variation.
Overall, Mana showed once again his incredible ability to combine the elements of serene pain and sorrow from the heart. His style remains has beautiful has ever. I recommend this album for anyone who appreciates the combination of classical music with todays metal rock.
