My Review of the CD
An older band, Breeze Least plays heavy metal/doom metal. Because of that, they play slower songs, which in many cases can be painfully slow. To me, slower metal is a great break from faster metal, but only once every so often. To make it clear, however, there are faster songs on this album. The songs are catchy and the guitars are fun, while the drums tend to focus heavily on the cymbals. Some songs have intros, such as wind blowing and the sounds of waves crashing and, typically they have nice, slow vocals and eventually speed up. I love the vocalist, although I admit that he has a limited vocal range. Thats almost of a paradox, but there can be vocalists with a large vocal range and simply suck (in my opinion, and in example, I mean Gackt). They truly deserve more credit than they got, as this is a very good album (although I fear the production isnt top-notch). Im not certain, but there may be an eighth and ninth track, which are live versions of other songs on the album.

Strong self titled song in a self-titled album.

Too slow and makes the album inconsistent.

Slow, but I sitll enjoyed it. Reminded me of Wild ARMs 3, strangely.

Great atmospheric opening to some shredding, but the Engrish...
