Profile

Plastic Tree is a four member band that first started in December 1993. In 1995 they released their first mini-album Strange fruit- kimyou na kajitsu. In 1997, they finally became a major band releasing two albums that year. In 2001, their drummer left the band and was replaced with Hiroshi. They continued to produce more singles and albums. In 2005, the band switched over to J-ROCK record company and is planning on releasing a new single this May!

Thoughts

Plastic Tree tends to be laid back and play classic rock. Ryutaro has a unique voice that is mellow, yet high pitched. It makes his voice sound a little haunting, which is what I love about his voice hehe. Some great songs I have encountered are Tremolo, Nukegara, and Planetarium. Def. check this band out if you are looking for soft rock.
