Indie rock band, Paranoia, was first formed in 2005 when Ryuki and Daichi Tawara met. Only five months after meeting, the duo began to perform live on stage. Takahiro and Daichi Yamakita joined soon after. In August, 2005, the band officially adopted the name "Paranoia".

In March the following year, Paranoia performed one of their first original tunes for an audience of a few hundred. This performance marked the beginning of a very active year of performing live.

Finally in February 2007, the band released their first demo CD. The CD features two tracks: "Suspicion" and "Stay Away". It is the only official release they have made so far.

Thoughts

Paranoia reminds me of a neighborhood garage band. The vocalist has a very nasally voice that ranges in and out of tune. I do have to give credit to their bassist. From what I have heard, he is quite talented. For now this is a band to keep an eye on. Hopefully they will improve with time.
