Otsuka Ai has been playing since she was the small age of four and besides playing piano, she writes her own music. She composes most of her songs. Otsuka's debut album Love Punch was released in March 2004 and was a huge success. She has nicknames such as "The New Guru of Love". Her second single, Sakuranbo stayed strong on the Oricon charts for 85 weeks. Love Jam, her second album debuted at #1. She is also an actress, acting in a dorama (Tokyo Friends), has a radio show and she has two pen columns. Her first tour began on April 24, 2005 (the Jam Punch Tour).kkunurashima
Thoughts
Otsuka Ai already has a great career ahead of her even though she just started out! When I listened to her music I was a bit surprised. She has a really high pitched voice! In addition, her music is really poppy, zany, and random. Her style reminds me a bit of PuffyAmiyumi. Its a bit too poppy and happy for me, but if you like idols like Puffy, then you’ll def. like Otsuka Ai!akfgfan
