Olivia was a member of the all girl group Dance & Dream or D&D. After the group disbanded Olivia took on a career as a solo artist. In contrast to her work with D&D, I.L.Y.~Yokubouher, her first rock driven single debuted in 1999. Although her first two singles were not written by her, she did write her third single "Dear Angel" and has done so ever since.

Between 1999 and 2000 she released six more singles with a pop-rock/alternative sound. At the end of 2000 she released her first album Synchronicity, a compliation of all her singles to date. In 2001 and 2002 she released two more singles. Although critically acclaimed, her solo singles were not chart toppers. Her biggest hits were her second and third singles which both peaked at number 29 on the Oricon Charts. Her final single peaked at number 99.

After the release of "The Lost Lolli", Olivia took an unofficial hiatus while she performed in "Halloween of the Living Dead". A three night event at Club Citta hosted by L’Arc~en~Ciel frontman Hyde. During her break she also modeled for fashion magazines as her fans pondered her return.

In 2006, an accouncement was made that under the name Olivia inspi’ Reira (Trapnest), she would be recording the closing for the new anime, Nana. The show debuted on April 5, 2006. The single was released on June 28th, and debuted on the Top 10 of the Oricon Daily charts.

Olivia confessed that the hiatus she took at the time of The Lost Lolli’s release was because she feeling depressed and she had begun realizing her own faults. With her musicial expression changing she needed the break to help her produce music.

On October 2006, she performed live at the Pacific Media Expo Convention in the United States.

Man I never thought a girl could rock. I’m not against any girl singers, but from the ones that I have heard they all sucked except for Olivia. Oh and she is hot, veeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrry hot, sexy to be presise.
