Profile
Known as the Japanese version of Americas Wu Tang Clan, hip hop group Nitro Microphone Underground was formed in the late 90s by members Macka-chin, Deli, Dabo, S-Word, Gore-Tex, Suiken, XBS and Bigzam. After their first self titled indies release sold 20,000 copies, Nitro Microphone Underground was signed to Def Jam Japan. In 2000 they made it to number 12 on the Japanese music charts after the re-release of their first album. Gathering major acclaim by not having to turn into a pop group helped the band aquire legendary status.

Thoughts
I was not very impressed with Nitro Microphone Underground. They reminded me very much of the rap scene over here in America. Theres little originality to their songs, vulgar lyrics, and average vocals. I do not recommend them.
