Profile

Nell is a 4-man korean group whose aim, when they play their music, is to stimulate the listener’s sensitivity with their "individual sound and lyrics". Formed back in 1999, when they were juniors in high school, they mostly played at live houses until they were discovered in 2003. That same year, they released their first album.

Said to have a more acoustic sound, they like to play with what they call "force" and "explosiveness". Still going strong today, their lives are still a draw and recently released their second album.

My Thoughts

Nell is a great pop band. They have some beautiful songs that incorporate great accoustic instruments. Another great thing about Nell is the vocalist! Kim JongWan has a spectacular voice with a great range. He also does some insane falsetto vocals too. I highly recommend this band!
