Thrash metal band Narcotic Greed was formed in 1989 in Osaka, Japan by guitarist Warzy.

Although the band went through various members throughout 1991 and 1992, their demos Absurd War and Crisis of Ruin sold a total of 3000 copies.

In 1994 they released their debut album Fatal on Lard Records. During this time they also toured England, Italy, France and Switzerland.

At the end of 2000 they signed a contract with World Chaos Productions in which their second album Twicet of Fate was released worldwide.

Thoughts

Narcotic Greed has a very odd sound. One vocalist has power vocals very reminiscent of 1980’s metal. The other vocalist uses modern, harsh vocals. Together they make a very odd combination. It sounds almost like a clash of music generations. The samples below don’t do what I’ve described justice. Either way though, this band has a very odd sound.
