Formed in 1990, this j-pop duo consists of Kobayashi Takeshi on the keyboards and AKKO as the vocalist and occasionally they’ll have a guest guitarist. The way this group was formed is a very strange story. AKKO was a girlfriend of a producer and had her sing. After hearing her, they banded her together with Kobayashi.Their music is a what one would categorize as a "cute voice" group. They are said to sing with much feeling and full of gentleness, at times, even to a European beat. They have even been compared to the Beatles.
They have released numerous cds and singles as of this writing and their first album (Evergreen) has sold over 3,200,0000 copies.

Thoughts
My Little Lover is an okay pop group. They have kawaii vocals, but they lack that greatness that other pop singers like Ayumi or BoA have. Their music is good though and often very catchy. My Little Lover is really in a category between idol singers and great pop singers. They are just average.Click to read/add your opinion!
