The band formed in 1997 after motsu and t-kimura had auditioned Yuki to be their female vocalist. With their latest album, "Boulder" broke into the Oricon Style Top 30. Featuring pop vocalist Yuri and rap vocalist Motsu with T-Kimura on keyboard, Move is best known for the opening themes for Initial D and Ikki Tousen.kkunurashima
Thoughts
Move is not your ordinary rap group! This band is a interesting mix of rap, pop, trance, and rock. The main vocalist, Yuri, has a beautiful high voice that nicely contrasts Motsu’s rapping throughout the song. The two usually take turns singing, although they will sing the chorus together occasionally. One critical thing about this band is that their music is unique, upbeat, driven, and catches your attention!
