Miyavi
Vocals/Guitar: Miyavi
Started: 2002
Status: Active
Profile
Miyavi originally started his career in music with the band Due le Quartz. When the band disbanded in 2002, he began his solo career. He released his first solo later that same year. By the release of his second album, Miyavi began to back away a bit from his visual kei look although the music stayed the same. In 2003, he recieved a chance to star in the Japanese movies
Oresama and
Ryomano Tsumato Sono Ottoto Aijin. Despite his new fame in the movie industry, Miyavi is continuing to produce more music. He has definitely adopted his visual kei look again. This year he released a new album and is touring in Japan.
Thoughts
Miyavi is a hard core rocker. His music is heavily influenced by his vocals and guitar. One really unique thing about Miyavi is that he has a deep voice. It really adds a lot to his music and seems to almost blend in with the drums/bass. Below is a sample of his song,
Freedom Fighters :)
