Mink was first discovered through an audition tape. She recorded herself singing Don't Know Why (Nora Jones), Thank you (Daid), and Seem to Shed Tears So. Everyone was blown away be her tape and how she had changed the original versions of each song. She was immediately whisked away by Avex. She released her debut album Mink in August 2005.akfgfan
Thoughts
Mink is a very talented singer. She has a fairly deep voice for a singer and tends to sing jpop and ballads. A point of interest is that Mink adores American music. In her debut album, she actually covers a couple English songs with excellent pronunciation! By far one of her greatest works though is the song Glory of Life! It’s a beautiful, uplifting song :)akfgfan
