Profile
In 1995, this heavy metal band was formed in Kuwana City, as a side project of Gezol from the legendary black metal band, Sabbat. With other Sabbat members, and some friends from other bands (Gore, Sacrifice, Metal Inquistor, and Desaster), Gezol (stage name Gezolucifer) tried to revive heavy metal from the midst of this "chaotic Japanese 90s metal scene". Of course, they did a very good job doing so, as every band member is also a die-hard heavy metal fan. The simple dedication to the art of heavy metal gives them the emotion their music thrives with.
Their name, however, was taken from Sabbats song "Metalucifer And Evilucifer" from their "Evoke" LP. Basically, this means to them "King of the Heavy Metal Hell". This became their name with seemingly no restraints and to this day they produce great 80s sounding heavy metal.

My Thoughts
If you like heavy metal, then Metalucifer will be a enjoyable band for you. They have some great background melodies accompianed by really deep vocals from Gezolucifer. Like a lot of Japanese bands, they do try to use a lot of English in their songs. My one complaint with this band is that sometimes you cant understand Gezolucifers English. Besides that though, this is a pretty good heavy metal band. Enjoy the samples :)
