She was born February 24th, 1982 to a japanese father and mother in Hawaii and is a Hawaiian graduate. Melody chose the name for all her songs "overflow with charm and melody".As a young child, she grew up with dreams of debuting in Japan as Singer. Her debut song is titled: "Dreamin' Away".
She has been praised for the refreshing impression she leaves after she is done singing. Her collaboration with m-flow: "platinum" and "miss you" was a huge hit the same year she debuted. In addition to Alpine, she is also sponsored by various companies such as Mitsubishi automobile and Hudson.
Her first album: "Sincerely" was ranked 3rd in January of 04. She also released a DVD.

Melody is very talented! She has a beautiful, high voice and can sing English since she grew up in Hawaii! She tends to focus on pop music and her songs have a great melody to them.
