Masaharu Fukuyama was born in Nagasaki, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan on 6th February 1969. He is a singer and a songwriter. He has also acted in various night-time Japanese daromas. Masha, is the name he is known among his fans.Masaharu Fukuyama is known better because of his singing career and remains famous among people in Japan because of his songs. One of the few songs that made a rather outstanding mark in his career was Squall, Sakura Zaka and Niji. His single, Good Night, gained him a lot of fans to his music as it was associated with a J-Dorama.
Biking and photography are his hobby. Once, he was sent to Sydney to cover on the Olympics by TV Arashi as a photographer in 2000. Allnight Nippon is his late-night Saturday radio show.
Masaharu Fukuyama, a versatile actor and singer, appeared in various advertisements like Xylish and Pocari in Japan. Recently, he celebrated his 15 years anniversary in show business with series of concerts.
He used to be heavy-smoker, has apparently quit smoking and it has shown great improvements on the quality of his voice ever since. It was taken to be rather good news to all his fans.
